a four-day weekend?

I have now booked my accommodations for the coming Europe trip.

I thought that's quite a big chunk off the preparation part. I still have to book my flights within Europe and my rail pass though...and the two visas. And I'm still thinking of how to bring my dSLR with me along with my backpack.

Other than these enormous researches I've done for Europe there's not much going on really.

The last weekend went by just like that. Had two days full of activities (which isn't too bad sometimes) and I felt like having very little room to breathe and wind down.

Brunch on Saturday (I will never come back to Mr.Tulk for brunch again since I've never had two poached eggs and a croquette for $15, well maybe I will if they decide to lower the price but what are the chances hey?) followed with a visit to South Melbourne to send my friend a Japan travel guide and had a quick chat about it (a thirty-minute chat is a quick chat) then off the another friend's housewarming and stayed with them until probably 10PM. So there goes my first day of last weekend.

The following day I had to wake up really early. And by really early I mean earlier than the time I usually wake up when I have to go to work. Went to an apartment in the city to go a wedding registry preparation, then went for the couple's photoshoot in Carlton Gardens then straight to the wedding registry shoot. Went to lunch afterwards, then visited another friend's place who apparently haven't had lunch so I went with her for more lunch which I only went for drinks. Sent her home, stayed there for a while then off the an early dinner breakup-farewell barbeque. It was a sad event with a few laughs in between.

Went home afterwards and tried to wind down but downloaded the whole photoshoot from my CF card. Read a book which I borrowed from a friend until probably 11PM and that ended my weekend just like that. And no, reading isn't winding down. I want two more days to wind down damn it!!!

I've started editing the shoot last night but they were just rough edits (delete the ones I don't want and colour correct them). Hopefully will be able to do a lot more tonight.

If you're bored with what I'm writing, here's another blog for you to read.
